So, what is poulsard?
Poulsard is a red grape variety that is predominantly grown in the Jura region of eastern France. It is known for producing light-bodied wines with a delicate and nuanced flavor profile. Poulsard wines typically exhibit notes of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, with hints of spice and earthy undertones. The grape is also used to produce rosé and sparkling wines, which showcase its fresh and vibrant character. Poulsard's low tannin content and high acidity make it an excellent food pairing wine, particularly with charcuterie, poultry, and lighter meat dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
