So, what is proteine vegetali?
Proteine vegetali is the Italian term for plant-based proteins. These are derived from a variety of plant sources, such as legumes, nuts, seeds, and grains. Unlike animal proteins, which can be high in saturated fat and cholesterol, plant-based proteins are typically low in fat and rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Proteine vegetali can be used in a wide range of dishes, from veggie burgers and falafel to smoothies and protein bars. They are also a great option for those following a vegetarian or vegan diet, as they provide all the essential amino acids needed for optimal health.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
