So, what is psylliumkuitu?
Psylliumkuitu is a Finnish term for psyllium fiber, a soluble fiber derived from the seeds of Plantago ovata. This ingredient has gained popularity as a dietary supplement due to its ability to promote digestive health and alleviate constipation. Psyllium fiber works by absorbing water in the gut, creating a gel-like substance that helps regulate bowel movements and promotes satiety. It also has potential benefits for controlling blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Psylliumkuitu can be added to smoothies, baked goods, or taken as a supplement in powder or capsule form.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
