So, what is raw cáne sugar?
Raw cane sugar is a minimally processed sweetener derived from sugarcane plants. Unlike refined white sugar, it retains some of the natural molasses and minerals found in sugarcane juice. Raw cane sugar has a light brown color and a slightly caramel flavor that can enhance baked goods, coffee, and tea. It also adds texture to dishes due to its coarse granules. Being less processed than commercial sugar, raw cane sugar may contain trace amounts of vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber. However, it's still high in calories and should be consumed in moderation.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
