So, what is romano?
Romano is a hard, salty cheese made from cow's milk with a grainy texture and nutty flavor. It originated in Italy's Lazio region but is now widely produced in various parts of the world. Romano cheese is aged for at least five months and has a pale yellow color. Its pungent aroma and sharp, tangy taste make it an ideal addition to pasta dishes, salads, soups, and sandwiches. Romano cheese is often used as a substitute for Parmesan cheese and is a popular ingredient in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
