So, what is runner bean?
Runner beans are a type of legume that belong to the same family as common beans, such as kidney and navy beans. They are long, slender, and come in a variety of colors, including green, yellow, and purple. These beans are an excellent source of plant-based protein and dietary fiber, as well as essential vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, iron, and potassium. Runner beans are versatile in cooking and can be used in salads, soups, stews, and side dishes. They have a slightly sweet and nutty flavor that pairs well with a range of spices and seasonings.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
