So, what is sirop de glucose deblé?
"Sirop de glucose deblé" is a French term that refers to a clear and viscous liquid sweetener made from corn starch. This syrup is obtained by breaking down the molecular structure of corn starch, which results in a mixture of different glucose molecules. Unlike regular table sugar, "sirop de glucose deblé" has a high glycemic index, meaning it can rapidly raise blood sugar levels. It is commonly used in various food applications, such as confectionery products, baked goods, and beverages, due to its ability to enhance texture, sweetness, and flavor. Additionally, "sirop de glucose deblé" provides moisture retention, preventing crystallization and extending shelf life.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
