So, what is sirop de malt d'orge deshydraté?
Sirop de malt d'orge déshydraté, or dehydrated barley malt syrup, is a natural sweetener commonly used in baking, brewing, and confectionery industries. It is made by drying the concentrated extract of sprouted barley grains, resulting in a golden-brown powder with a malty flavor and aroma. This ingredient is an excellent alternative to refined sugars, as it contains complex carbohydrates that are slowly released into the bloodstream, providing sustained energy. Sirop de malt d'orge déshydraté also enhances the texture and flavor of baked goods, adds color to sauces, and improves fermentation in brewing.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
