So, what is sorgo?
Sorghum, also known as sorgo, is a gluten-free grain that is gaining popularity as a nutritious alternative to wheat, barley, and rye. This ancient grain is an important food source for millions of people around the world, particularly in Africa and Asia. Sorghum is high in fiber and antioxidants, making it beneficial for digestive health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. It is also rich in vitamins and minerals, including iron, calcium, and magnesium. Sorghum is versatile and can be used in a variety of recipes, from breakfast cereals to soups, stews, and baked goods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
