So, what is tartrates'de potassium?
Potassium tartrate, commonly known as cream of tartar, is a white crystalline powder that is a byproduct of the winemaking process. It is often used as a stabilizing agent in recipes, particularly in baked goods, to help activate baking soda and create a lighter texture. Potassium tartrate also has a slightly acidic taste, which can add tanginess to dishes. In addition to its culinary uses, it is sometimes used as a natural remedy for various ailments, such as indigestion and urinary tract infections.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
