So, what is tauryna?
Taurine, also known as tauryna in some languages, is a naturally occurring amino acid found in many animal tissues. It plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including the development of the nervous system, regulation of the immune system, and maintenance of cardiovascular function. Taurine is commonly used as an ingredient in energy drinks due to its ability to enhance athletic performance and reduce fatigue. Additionally, it has been studied for its potential therapeutic benefits in treating various conditions such as diabetes, liver disease, and neurological disorders. Taurine is also found in some dietary supplements and can be obtained through the consumption of meat, fish, and dairy products.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
