So, what is zonnebloemlecithine?
Zonnebloemlecithine is a natural emulsifier derived from sunflower seeds. It is a yellow-brown, viscous liquid with a nutty flavor and aroma. Zonnebloemlecithine contains a high amount of phospholipids that make it an excellent emulsifier, allowing it to blend oil and water-based ingredients seamlessly. This versatile ingredient is widely used in the food industry as a stabilizer and thickener in products such as chocolate, margarine, and baked goods. Zonnebloemlecithine is also known for its health benefits, as it can help lower cholesterol levels and improve brain function.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
