So, what is artichauts?
Artichauts, also known as artichokes, are a versatile and nutritious vegetable that have been enjoyed for centuries in Mediterranean cuisine. The edible portions are the tender, fleshy leaves and the heart, which is the tender, meaty center of the plant. Artichauts are high in antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins C and K. They have a unique, earthy flavor and a tender, slightly chewy texture. Artichauts can be boiled, steamed, roasted, grilled, or fried and are often served as a side dish or incorporated into salads, dips, and pasta dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
