So, what is cèpes de bordeaux?
Cèpes de Bordeaux, also known as Bordeaux mushrooms, are a delicacy prized for their rich, nutty flavor and meaty texture. These mushrooms have a deep brown cap that can grow up to 20 centimeters in diameter, and a thick, white stem. They are harvested in the fall in the forests around Bordeaux, France, and are often used in traditional French cuisine, particularly in hearty stews and sauces. Cèpes de Bordeaux are also popular in other European countries, and are enjoyed grilled, sautéed, or roasted. With their complex, earthy flavor, they add depth and sophistication to any dish.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
