So, what is cereals grains?
Cereal grains are a group of plants that produce edible seeds commonly used for food. These small but mighty grains are a powerhouse of nutrition, offering a range of essential nutrients including fiber, protein, B vitamins, and minerals such as iron and zinc. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and flavors, from the familiar oats, wheat, and rice to the lesser-known quinoa, amaranth, and millet. Cereal grains can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways, from hot cereals and breads to snacks and even beverages, making them a versatile and nutritious addition to any diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
