So, what is con azúcares?
Con azúcares is a Spanish term that translates to "with sugars" in English, and it refers to any food or ingredient that contains added sugars. These sugars are often used to enhance flavor, texture, and appearance in processed foods like sweets, baked goods, sauces, and condiments. While small amounts of added sugars can be a part of a balanced diet, excessive consumption can lead to various health complications like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Therefore, it's important to read nutrition labels carefully and limit your intake of con azúcares as much as possible.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
