So, what is lentillons?
Lentillons are a type of large green lentils, typically grown in the volcanic soils of Puy region in France. With a nutty and earthy flavor, they have a firm texture that holds up well in soups and stews. These lentils are a great source of protein, fiber, and essential minerals, making them a nutritious addition to any diet. Lentillons are often used in French cuisine, particularly in salads and as a side dish. They can also be used in vegetarian and vegan dishes as a meat substitute due to their high protein content.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
