So, what is sirop de glucoses?
Sirop de glucoses, also known as glucose syrup, is a thick, sweet syrup made from cornstarch that is widely used as a sweetener and thickening agent in food production. It has a high viscosity and is commonly used in the manufacture of candy, baked goods, and processed foods. The syrup is made by breaking down the starch molecules in corn using enzymes and heat, resulting in a syrup that is primarily glucose. Sirop de glucoses is often preferred over regular sugar in food production due to its ability to prevent crystallization and provide a smoother texture. It is a versatile ingredient that is widely used in the food industry and is known for its sweet, mild flavor.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
