So, what is thés verts?

Thés verts, or green teas in English, are a type of tea made from the Camellia sinensis plant that has not undergone the same withering and oxidation process as black teas. This results in a delicate flavor profile with grassy, vegetal notes and a light, refreshing aroma. Thés verts are often enjoyed for their health benefits, including high levels of antioxidants and potential effects on metabolism and weight management. They are commonly brewed at lower temperatures than other teas and can be consumed plain or with a variety of added flavors and sweeteners.

How to quickly find the source of ingredients like thés verts?

We've built a database of 49359 ingredients (and growing), classified as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "maybe vegan".

We use it in our vegan ingredients scanner, which is the best way to avoid non-vegan ingredients - you take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
