So, what is a menthe?
A menthe, also known as mint, is a highly aromatic herb that belongs to the family Lamiaceae. This versatile ingredient is widely used in culinary and medicinal applications, prized for its refreshing flavor and numerous health benefits. The menthe's leaves are dark green in color, with a slightly fuzzy texture and serrated edges. They possess a distinctive cool and sweet flavor that is perfect for adding a burst of freshness to a variety of dishes, from salads and sauces to cocktails and desserts. In addition to its culinary uses, the menthe is also prized for its ability to aid digestion, alleviate headaches, and soothe sore throats.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
