So, what is acide gluconique?
Acide gluconique is a natural organic acid that is commonly used as a food ingredient due to its mild acidity and chelating properties. It is derived from the fermentation of glucose by various species of bacteria, and is found in many fruits, honey, and wine. Acide gluconique has a sour taste and is often used as a flavor enhancer, preservative, and acidity regulator in processed foods, such as sauces, dressings, and beverages. It is also used in cleaning and personal care products due to its ability to chelate and remove mineral deposits.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
