So, what is acidifiant phosphorique?
Acidifiant phosphorique, also known as phosphoric acid, is a colorless and odorless liquid that is commonly used in the food industry as a flavoring agent, acidulant, and pH adjuster. It is a mineral acid that is derived from phosphorus, and has a sour taste similar to that of citrus fruits. Phosphoric acid is often added to carbonated beverages to give them a tangy flavor and to help balance their acidity levels. It is also used in the production of various food products, including jams, jellies, and processed meats, to help prevent spoilage and improve flavor. Despite its widespread use, excessive consumption of phosphoric acid can have negative health effects, including tooth decay and bone loss.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
