So, what is alcool benzylique?

Benzyl alcohol, also known as alcool benzylique, is a colorless liquid with a mild, pleasant aroma. It is widely used as a solvent in the manufacturing of various products such as soaps, perfumes, and flavorings. Additionally, it is utilized as a natural preservative in personal care items like lotions and shampoos due to its antimicrobial properties. Alcool benzylique is also used in the pharmaceutical industry as a local anesthetic and as a constituent of cough syrups. Although generally regarded as safe for use in small quantities, high levels of exposure can result in adverse health effects such as headaches and respiratory issues.
