So, what is azucar caña?
Azucar de caña, or cane sugar, is a natural sweetener derived from sugarcane plant. It is known for its light golden color, fine texture, and delicate flavor profile. Unlike refined sugars, azucar de caña retains its natural molasses content, making it a healthier alternative to processed sweeteners. It is commonly used in baking, beverages, and confectioneries, adding depth and complexity to any recipe. Azucar de caña is also rich in minerals such as calcium, potassium, and iron, making it a nutritious ingredient for everyday consumption.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
