So, what is azucar invertido?
Azúcar invertido, also known as inverted sugar, is a syrup-like sweetener commonly used in baking and confectionery. Made by heating a mixture of sugar, water, and an acid such as lemon juice or cream of tartar, the resulting product has a higher sweetness level than regular granulated sugar and is less prone to crystallization. Azúcar invertido also helps improve the texture and shelf life of baked goods while reducing the risk of spoilage. Due to its unique properties, it is a popular ingredient in many recipes, including cakes, cookies, and candies.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
