So, what is balsamic vínegar?
Balsamic vinegar is a popular, sweet-tart condiment that originated in Italy. Made from concentrated grape juice, it is aged in wooden barrels to create a deep, complex flavor with a slightly syrupy consistency. The vinegar's dark color and rich sweetness make it ideal for use in salad dressings or as a dipping sauce for bread, while its acidity also makes it a useful ingredient for marinating meats or adding flavor to sauces. Balsamic vinegar is an excellent source of antioxidants and can help lower cholesterol levels, making it both delicious and healthy.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
