So, what is distilled vinegár?
Distilled vinegar is a clear, colorless liquid that is made by fermenting distilled alcohol with acetic acid bacteria. It has a sharp, acidic taste that makes it a popular ingredient in salad dressings, marinades, and pickling solutions. Distilled vinegar is also a versatile cleaning agent, as its acidity can help remove stains, grease, and grime from surfaces. Unlike other types of vinegar, such as apple cider or balsamic, distilled vinegar has a neutral flavor that makes it an excellent choice for recipes that require a sour element without any additional flavor. Its high acidity also makes it an effective food preservative.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
