So, what is betakaroten?
Beta-carotene is a red-orange pigment found in plants and fruits, especially in colorful vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes, and spinach. It is converted into vitamin A in the body, which is essential for maintaining healthy vision, skin, and immune system. Beta-carotene is also a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage caused by harmful molecules known as free radicals. Adding beta-carotene to your diet can be as easy as incorporating more colorful fruits and vegetables into your meals, or taking a dietary supplement.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
