So, what is bicarbonat sòdic?
Bicarbonat sòdic, also known as sodium bicarbonate, is a white crystalline powder often used as a leavening agent in baking. It has a slightly salty, alkaline taste and effervesces when mixed with acid. Bicarbonat sòdic can also be used as a gentle household cleaner and deodorizer due to its ability to neutralize odors and mildly abrasive properties. It is important to note that overconsumption of bicarbonat sòdic can lead to health issues such as alkalosis, so it should be used in moderation.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
