So, what is bicarbonató deamonio?
Bicarbonato de amonio, also known as ammonium bicarbonate, is a white crystalline powder that is commonly used in baking. This food ingredient acts as a leavening agent and helps baked goods rise, giving them a light and fluffy texture. Unlike other leavening agents, it has a unique smell that dissipates quickly during baking. It is commonly used in making cookies, crackers, and other baked goods. Bicarbonato de amonio is also used as a pH buffer and is sometimes added to animal feed as a source of ammonia for ruminants.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
