So, what is calciumcitraat?
Calcium citrate is a calcium salt of citric acid that is commonly used as a food additive and dietary supplement. It has a white, powdery appearance and is highly soluble in water, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of food products. Calcium citrate is often added to dairy-free or low-calcium foods to increase their calcium content, and it is also used in the production of certain cheeses and other dairy products. As a dietary supplement, it is considered more bioavailable than some other forms of calcium, meaning that it is more easily absorbed by the body.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
