So, what is carbonate le?
Carbonate le is a white, odorless powder commonly used as a food additive to act as a leavening agent in baked goods. It contains sodium bicarbonate, which releases carbon dioxide gas when mixed with an acid, causing the batter or dough to rise. Carbonate le is typically found in self-rising flour and baking powder, and is also used to control pH levels in food products. It is important to use carbonate le in the correct proportion, as too much can result in an unpleasant soapy taste in the finished product.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
