So, what is chistorra?
Chistorra is a type of sausage originating from the Basque Country in Northern Spain. Made from minced pork, garlic and paprika, it has a distinctive smoky flavor and a slightly spicy kick. The sausage is typically thin and long, often served grilled or fried and sliced into bite-size pieces as a snack or appetizer. Chistorra can also be used in stews or casseroles to add depth and richness to the dish. Its unique taste and texture have made it a popular ingredient in Spanish cuisine, enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
