So, what is créme uht?
Crème UHT, also known as ultra-high temperature cream, is a dairy product that has been pasteurized at an extremely high temperature to increase its shelf life. This process involves heating the cream to temperatures above 135°C for just a few seconds, effectively killing all harmful bacteria and spores. The resulting product is thicker and richer than traditional cream, with a long-lasting freshness that makes it ideal for use in various recipes. Crème UHT adds a creamy, indulgent texture to desserts, sauces, and soups, making it a versatile ingredient in any kitchen.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
