So, what is de glucose-fructose de?
"De glucose-fructose" is a food ingredient commonly used as a sweetener and is derived from corn syrup. It is a combination of glucose and fructose, two simple sugars that are chemically similar to table sugar (sucrose). This sweetener is often used in processed foods, soft drinks, and baked goods to enhance flavor and improve texture. De glucose-fructose has a high glycemic index, meaning it can cause a quick spike in blood sugar levels, making it important for people with diabetes to consume in moderation. Despite its widespread use, some studies suggest that excessive consumption of de glucose-fructose may contribute to obesity and other health issues.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
