So, what is de mollusque?
"De mollusque" refers to ingredients derived from mollusks, a diverse group of marine animals that includes clams, oysters, mussels, and snails. These creatures have long been prized by humans for their delicious and nutritious meat, which is high in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and other essential nutrients. Whether eaten raw, grilled, baked, or fried, mollusks are a flavorful and versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes, from classic seafood stews and soups to modern fusion cuisine. However, it's important to note that some people may be allergic to mollusks, so care should be taken when preparing and serving these ingredients.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
