So, what is de xanthane?
De xanthane, also known as xanthan gum, is a food ingredient commonly used as a thickener, stabilizer, and emulsifier. It is derived from the bacterial fermentation of carbohydrates, such as corn, soy, or wheat. De xanthane has a high viscosity, which allows it to create a smooth and creamy texture in foods like salad dressings, sauces, and soups. It also has the ability to bind water, which can improve the shelf life of baked goods and other perishable products. De xanthane is gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and safe for most people with food allergies.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
