So, what is dry milk?
Dry milk, also known as powdered milk or milk powder, is a dairy product made by evaporating fresh milk until it becomes a dry and powdery substance. It has a long shelf life and can be stored at room temperature, making it a convenient ingredient for various recipes. Dry milk is often used in baked goods, such as bread and cakes, as well as in soups, sauces, and beverages. It contains all the nutrients found in fresh milk, including protein, calcium, and vitamins A and D. Additionally, it can be reconstituted with water to make liquid milk, making it a versatile ingredient in any kitchen.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
