So, what is du manioc?
Du manioc, also known as cassava, is a starchy root vegetable that is native to South America but is now grown and enjoyed throughout the world. This versatile ingredient can be boiled, mashed, fried, or baked, and is a staple in many cuisines, particularly in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It is gluten-free and rich in carbohydrates, making it an excellent source of energy. Du manioc is also a good source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and can be used to make everything from bread and chips to puddings and porridges.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
