So, what is essigsäure?
Essigsäure, also known as acetic acid, is a clear, colorless liquid with a sharp, pungent odor. It is a type of organic acid that is commonly found in vinegar and is also produced naturally in the human body as part of the metabolism process. Essigsäure is a versatile ingredient used in a variety of industries, including food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic. In the food industry, it is used as a flavor enhancer, preservative, and acidifier in a range of products such as pickles, sauces, and dressings. Essigsäure is also used in the production of solvents, plastics, and textiles.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
