So, what is extrait acérola?

Extrait acérola is a natural food ingredient derived from the acerola cherry, also known as the Barbados cherry. The acerola cherry is a small, bright red fruit that is native to the West Indies, but is now grown in many parts of the world. The extract is made by pressing the juice from the fruit and then removing the water through a process of evaporation. The resulting extract is a rich source of vitamin C, as well as other antioxidants and nutrients. Extrait acérola is often used in dietary supplements and functional foods to support immune health, skin health, and overall well-being.
