So, what is fenugrec?
Fenugreek, also known as "methi" in Hindi, is a herb that is widely used in Indian cuisine. The plant's leaves and seeds are commonly used as a spice, and have a slightly bitter, nutty taste. Fenugreek seeds are rich in protein, fiber, and iron, and are believed to have a range of health benefits, including improving digestion and reducing inflammation. They are also commonly used as a natural remedy for menstrual cramps and diabetes. Fenugreek has a distinctive aroma that is often described as being similar to maple syrup or caramel.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
