So, what is fosfato de potasio?
Fosfato de potasio, also known as potassium phosphate, is a white crystalline powder commonly used as a food additive to regulate acidity, emulsify, and act as a stabilizer. It is derived from phosphoric acid and potassium hydroxide, and is generally recognized as safe by the US Food and Drug Administration. Fosfato de potasio is commonly used in dairy products, processed meats, and baked goods to improve texture, prevent spoilage, and enhance flavor. It is also used in the production of soft drinks, as well as in pharmaceuticals and fertilizers.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
