So, what is fruktóz glükózszörp?
Fruktóz glükózszörp, also known as high-fructose corn syrup, is a commonly used sweetener in processed foods and beverages. It is made by processing cornstarch and converting glucose to fructose, resulting in a syrup that's sweeter than traditional sugar. This ingredient is often used by food manufacturers due to its low cost and ability to extend the shelf life of products. However, some studies suggest that excessive consumption of fruktóz glükózszörp may be linked to health issues such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
