So, what is glutaman sodný?
Glutaman sodný, also known as monosodium glutamate (MSG), is a flavor enhancer commonly used in Asian and Western cuisine. It is a white crystalline powder with a savory taste that enhances umami flavors in food, making them more satisfying and delicious. MSG is made from the amino acid glutamic acid, which is naturally found in many foods such as tomatoes, cheese, and mushrooms. Despite concerns over its safety, extensive research has shown that MSG is safe for consumption in moderate amounts and can be found in many processed foods, seasonings, and sauces.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
