So, what is glucosio?
Glucosio is an Italian term for glucose, a simple sugar that is essential for energy production in the human body. As a food ingredient, glucosio is often used as a sweetener, a thickener, or a humectant in various food products such as baked goods, confectionery, and dairy products. It has a high glycemic index, which means it can raise blood sugar levels quickly, making it a popular choice for athletes and people who need a quick energy boost. Glucosio is also commonly used in the production of beer and other alcoholic beverages, as it provides a source of fermentable sugar for yeast to consume during the brewing process.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
