So, what is graine de moutarde?
Graine de moutarde, or mustard seeds, are small, round seeds that come from the mustard plant. These seeds have a pungent, spicy flavor and are commonly used in many culinary traditions around the world. They can be used whole or ground to add flavor and texture to dishes such as pickles, curries, and marinades. Mustard seeds are also often used to make condiments like mustard and horseradish. In addition to their culinary uses, mustard seeds have been used for medicinal purposes for centuries and are believed to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
