So, what is grondin?

Grondin, also known as red gurnard, is a fish species that belongs to the Triglidae family. The fish has a bright red color with distinctive large pectoral fins, which are said to resemble wings. It is typically found in shallow waters and rocky areas of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Grondin has a firm texture and a sweet, delicate flavor, making it a popular choice among seafood lovers. This versatile ingredient can be grilled, baked, or fried, and is often used in traditional Mediterranean cuisine to add depth and complexity to dishes.
