So, what is harina de graham?
Harina de graham, or graham flour, is a type of whole wheat flour that is coarsely ground and lightly sweetened with molasses. It was originally developed by Sylvester Graham in the 19th century as part of his health food movement. Graham believed that white flour was unhealthy and created this alternative to promote better digestion and overall health. Today, graham flour is commonly used in baked goods like breads, crackers, and pie crusts, adding a nutty flavor and texture. It's also a great source of fiber and nutrients compared to refined white flour.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
