So, what is hästkött?
Hästkött, also known as horse meat, is a red meat that is lean and flavorful. With a slightly sweet taste, it can be used in a variety of dishes such as stews, burgers, and sausages. Hästkött is a popular ingredient in many European and Asian cuisines, however, it is not as commonly consumed in other parts of the world due to cultural preferences and ethical concerns. Despite this, hästkött has been praised for its nutritional benefits including high protein content, low fat levels, and rich in iron and B-vitamins.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
